Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and versatile Photographer and Filmer with strong editing skills to join our creative team on a contract basis in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality visual content and producing polished edits that align with brand identity and project goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both photography and videography, with the ability to manage the full creative process from shoot to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture professional-grade photos and videos for campaigns, events, and brand projects.
  • Conceptualise, plan, and execute shoots that align with project briefs.
  • Edit photos and videos into polished, high-quality final products using industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ensure visuals meet brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Manage equipment, lighting, and location setup to achieve the best results.
  • Stay current with visual trends, editing techniques, and storytelling styles.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a photographer and videographer with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to manage end-to-end production, from planning shoots to delivering final edits.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong eye for aesthetics.
  • Based in Sydney with flexibility to work on-site for shoots.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience producing content for digital platforms (social media, websites, campaigns).
  • Familiarity with drone photography/videography.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Adaptability to work across different industries and styles of projects.
